THEIR BEGINNINGS...

Jerry & Sheryl York are the Founders of Reformers Fire formerly known as Gate of Destiny which began in Ingleside, Texas in 2001 and Reformers Fire Network (AKA IMentorU.com) which began online on Resurrection Sunday of 2003. THEIR MISSION...

Their purpose is to equip, impart and activate those called to fivefold ministry, with an emphasis on Prophets. They have a vision to establish fivefold ministry training centers. Also part of their purpose is to speak the prophetic word of God, liberating people, churches, and nations, and releasing them into their God ordained destinies.

They are called to (parent) raise up a mentored, discipled and mature man called His body to fullfil their pre-ordained ministries in the Body of Christ, thus walking in the authority given by Jesus to be overcomers in their homes, cities, the nations and the world.

Amos 3:7 Surely the Lord God will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret to his servants the prophets.

Reformers Fire is a Word based, faith believing ministry. They believe that God is restoring Apostles and Prophets to the Church of Jesus Christ, to ultimately work in harmony with Evangelists, Pastors and Teachers, for the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ (Ephesians 4:11-12).

Apostles and Prophets are foundational (Ephesians 2:20). They are ministry gifts given to the Church by Christ himself, therefore, it's going to take all fivefold to prepare the Church for the return of Jesus Christ.

Revelations 19:10b says: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.
