Acts 17: 26 From one man he made all the nations, that they should inhabit the whole earth; and he marked out their appointed times in history and the boundaries of their lands.
This is truly one of my very favorite pages. Many years ago when I first began my Blog I had a list taped to my desk of my very favorite quotes. People would write me asking me for wisdom and counsel and almost every time I was able to pull one of my favorite quotes off that page. I received many response letters and I found that people really were blessed by the quotes that I shared so I added them all to my Blog called 'Sheryl York Online'. With some changes that MSN made to their Blog I can't seem to get to that page anymore where all of my old articles are as well as my favorite quotes, but I can recreate the page so that you can enjoy them with me.
If you are tired and weary there is a quote on this page for you. If you are wondering where God is in everything that is happening in your life I believe you will find something on this page to bless you, and if you are in need of wisdom from the Lord I know that there is a wonderful God inspired quote on this page that can truly speak to you and touch your heart. Feel free to share this page with your friends and check back because I am certain that I will be adding more.
Just serving Him by serving you,
Sheryl L. York

No matter how we approach it, there is government in the NT Church! We have some who abuse it and become controlling, on the other side of the coin we have those who want zero government and that's bad too. | |

"For many are called but few are chosen." Matthew 22:14
Or, "few will pay the price in order to be chosen." This "choosing" is based on our willingness to rise above our "self-centered" lives, into a Christ-centered life, in which we become so transparent that during the "third-day," Jesus will be clearly seen through our lives.
This is the time in which we go through the "testing" of our commitment, that we might qualify as an "overcomer" to be seated with Jesus in His throne. |

Nelson Mandela: "Our worst fear is not that we are inadequate, our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, 'Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented and fabulous?' Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God; your playing small doesn't serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We were born to make manifest the glory of God within us. It is not just in some of us, it is in everyone, and as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others."
Who are we, indeed, not to be fabulous?!?
